This is my favourite of these stories so far Paul. In addition to being beautifully written they remind me of my own adolescence. Even though we grew up in different times ( my adolescence was on the 1970’s ) and different spaces ( I grew up in Yorkshire) there is something universal about your stories

Thankyou so much Peter. I'm glad they're resonating. As much as I enjoy writing these, and including these specific details, based on locaion and era, I suppose I'm trying to aim at the univeral as much as I can, whilst bringing as much colour and detail to that as possable.
I like nuanced stories and I enjoy finding out about different people and differenct places. I'm sure there's lots of intersting things about Yorkshire in the 70s. Funnilly enough, my older siblings grew up in the 70's and 80's but have a different take on things. I'll keep it up though and thanks, as ever, for the support, it means a lot
